This visit has been organised by the East Midlands RMN with the following aims in mind:

·        To support candidates for Chartership and Certification

·        To help those who for are looking for another post, or are currently not working, to keep up to date with developments across various sectors of libraries

·        To give broader knowledge to those who have worked only in one sector

There is no cost to participants

Kathryn Durkan, Librarian and Careers Co-ordinator, will give a tour of the library and talk about the work done by the library staff. Kathryn is fortunate to have a graduate trainee so will be able to give some insight into the role.

There will be time for networking over refreshments.
