Visit to The Record Office for Leicestershire, 17.11.2011 2.00- 4.15pm

Visit to The Record Office for Leicestershire, Leicester and Rutland, Long Street, Wigston Magna LE18 2AH
Like other places visited in this programme, the Record Office has to undergo cuts to the budget, made more complex by the fact it is a joint service for 3 local authorities.  It is not only an archive, but also houses a major collection of Local Studies material for Leicestershire, Leicester city and Rutland within a converted Victorian school building.
